Cyberzone dances are held in a variety of cities in Ontario primarily for ages 9-14. These dances have been running since 1995 once or twice per month depending upon location and facility availability.
The dances are hosted by Cyberforce which is the longest running mobile video dance company in Canada, having started producing Video Dance Parties in 1982 under the name "VIDEO VOYAGE" and later changed to "CYBERZONE".
Cyberzone dances are just what kids want......noisy fun with their friends...loud music, video screens, light shows, and lots of positive energy.
Our goal is to provide a safe, fun, social environment for kids to interact with each other. The CYBERZONE dances are an inexpensive event for kids to hang out with friends and meet new ones.
SUPERVISION: Our Cyberzone dances are chaperoned by several trained and experienced adults all wearing fluorescent safety vests for identification. The chaperones watch for behavior issues as well as the safety of all. If anyone has an issue with another they should tell one of the chaperones.
Once everyone enters... they are not allowed to go in and out, however if they tell us they are leaving to go home we cannot legally hold them from leaving. If they do leave and try to come back they must pay another admission cost. This stops any "in and out" plans.
TIMES and ADMISSION: The dances typically run from 7pm - 10:30pm and admission is $12 All facilities have a snack bar with soft drinks and confectionary items; All tickets are purchased at the door upon entry.
BEHAVIOR: Overall those in attendance are well behaved, however we do at times have to deal with personality differences or disputes. Those who are caught fighting, bullying or causing upset during the event will be removed. Our staff will call parents and or police to remove those whose behavior or actions are deemed to be unacceptable at the event.
